Mr. Moore was Owner and Chef at the Public Eatery Restaurant at Hawthorne Country Club in La Plata, MD. He was a 1982 graduate of Thomas Stone High School and a graduate of the Washington Culinary School in Washington, D.C. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and playing pool. He was always known for being very generous and helping others.

He was son of Samuel Edward Moore and Gloria Frances Taylor Moore.

He was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Moore.

He is survived by his parents, one brother, Michael Moore of Florida, two sisters, Bonnie (Paul) Childs of Indiana, and Kimberly (Randy) Rhodes of Virginia, five nieces, Sunni St.Pierre, Samantha Childs, Kasey Moore, Taylor Childs, and Becca Rhodes, and one nephew, Trace Childs. He was also the great uncle of Lillianna and Sage.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2008 from 5-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

A Funeral Service will follow on Monday, December 1, 2008 at 10:30am at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Clergy will be the Father Charles Perry.

Interment will take place at St. Peter's Church Cemetery, Waldorf, MD.

Pallbearers will include Trace Childs and Robbie Moore.
