Mary Jane Lee Jones departed this life peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2008, at Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, Maryland. Mary Lee was born on December 18, 1958 in Oak Hill, West Virginia. Mary was the daughter of Rosa B. Lee and Nathaniel Jessie Lee both of whom preceded her in death.

Mary graduated from Oak Hill High School on June 5, 1977. Mary was employed by the U.S. Library of Congress, in the Copyright Division for 30 years. Mary was a dedicated professional employee who always received outstanding achievement awards. She would never settle for less than an exceptional performance appraisal. She always went above and beyond in whatever tasks were assigned to her. She strived for perfection. Her employment was interrupted by her illness.

Mary married Ronald L. Jones on July 26, 1982. She was very proud of her three children and grandchildren who gave her so much joy. She loved to read her bible and sing spirituals.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Ronald L. Jones. She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Sheena and Shediah; one son, Ronald; three grandchildren, Leiana, Keyona, Kavon; four sisters, Lucille, Rosetta, Catherine, Nancy; five brothers, Nathaniel, Charlie, Sherlock, Joe, George; a mother in-law; Lillie M. Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. For Mary, where one career has ended and another has just begun with God. She is now on the staff of Jesus and God, The Almighty!!! Rest in Peace Sugar!!

Viewing, 10:00 am Tuesday, November 18th until time of Service, 11:00 am at Fort Foote Baptist Church, 8310 Fort Foote Road, Fort Washington, Maryland. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, Maryland.
