Simeon Stuart Craft, Jr., 90, of Newburg, MD, passed away November 6, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital, Leonardtown, MD.

Mr. Craft was a supervisor with Wonder Bread for 30 years. He was a veteran of the United States Navy having served during World War II. Life member of Singleton-Hope-Lebonon Masonic Lodge No. 7 and the Almas Shrine Temple. Former member of the 2-n-1 Club in La Plata. He loved raising a vegetable garden, hunting and fishing where he won many trophies. He was also a member of the La Plata United Methodist Church.

Born March 9, 1918, in Lexington, VA, he was the son of the late Simeon Stuart Craft, Sr. and the late Edna Painter Craft.

Predeceased by his parents; and brothers, Theodore, John and Harley.

He is survived by his wife Marion Anna Craft, sister, Anna Frances Craft of Roanoke, VA; nephews, William H. Craft and his wife Betty Jo of SC and Robert P. Craft and his wife Nancy of NC.

Visitation will be Monday, November 10, 2008, 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel.

Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 11, 2008, 10AM, at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Bruce Jones officiating. Interment will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
