Jessie E. Moore, passed away on October 31, 2008 at her residence in Solomons, MD. Jessie Moore was born on July 6, 1918 in Philadelphia, PA to the late William R. and Jessie Carlile Erwin.

Jessie served her country during World War II in the U. S. Coast Guard, obtaining the rank of Lieutenant. She entered the service on December 23, 1942 and was honorably discharged on June 20, 1946.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her loving husband Robert C. Moore, beloved mother of Thomas C. Moore, Janet M. and Oak Whitney of Edgewater, MD and Amy M. Galyon of Huntingtown, MD; devoted sister of Barbara Brown of Newburn, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
