Harold McGee Elliott, 96, of Cobb Island, MD passed away peacefully at his home on November 17, 2019. Born on February 3, 1923 in Richmond, VA, he is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Myrtle Elliott. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janet Elliott; nieces, Elaine Burdette of White Plains, MD and Teresa Jenkins Nelson (Steve) of Punta Gorda, FL; and many friends and neighbors.

Mr. Elliott was a proud member of the U.S. Navy; served in World War II and Korea. Mr. Elliott was a computer programmer for 10 years with the Federal Government at the Naval Research Lab; lifetime member of the VFW, American Legion and the international Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Mr. Elliott enjoyed working in his yard, woodworking, fishing, watching the Redskins and the Internet. In later years he and his wife, Janet enjoyed many trips around the U.S. in their travel trailer with their dogs.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM on Saturday November 23, 2019 at Holy Ghost Catholic Church (15848 Rock Point Rd., Newburg, MD); where a Funeral Mass will start at 11 AM ; Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery (8000 Woodyard Rd., Clinton, MD). In lieu of flowers, send contributions in Mr. Elliott's name to the Humane Society of Charles Co. (P.O.
