Daniel W. Nosel, of Mechanicsville, died unexpectedly on Monday, October 20, 2008 at his home.

Danny was born January 1, 1952, in Wimber, Pennsylvania, son of the late Daniel D. & Janet (Jerz) Nosel.

He moved back to Mechanicsville in 2000 to take care of his mother, who passed away in January of 2007. He enjoyed photography and gardening and loved to travel. He traveled to Italy, Tahiti and Poland. He always spoke of how much he loved Italy, he was planning on moving there to retire.

Danny is survived by his son, Bryan D. Nosel of Seattle, Washington and sister Denise (and husband Kenneth) Hudson of Mechanicsville. Besides his son and sister, he leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Heather (Hudson) Deabay, Hillary (Hudson) Meador, Justin Hudson and Jonathan Hudson, Lexi Hudson, Hanna Hudson, Sierra and Samantha Deabay and Jacob Hudson.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at the Brinsfield Echols Funeral Home in Charlotte Hall from 3:00-4:00 PM.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Lettie Marshall Dent Elementary School.
