Lillian Marie Vieth, 94, of Waldorf, Maryland died on July 20, 2019 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata. Born on December 23, 1924 in Riverdale, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Laura Anna White Vieth and John Joseph Vieth. A homemaker and mom, Lillian enjoyed knitting, cooking, and working on crossword puzzles. She was an animal lover, especially her dogs.

In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph James Gaunt; her six siblings. She is survived by her children Joe Anne Gaunt-Pellini and her husband Carl William, Robert William Gaunt and his wife Beatrice Jean, Mary Elizabeth Robbins and her husband Larry Michael, Joseph James Gaunt Jr., Laura Anna Ford and her husband Bernie Gerald; grandchildren Maria Suzaan Pellini, Robert William Gaunt Jr., Sandra Renee Gaunt an Anne Marie Baseler; great grandchildren Kyle Patrick Hogan and Joshua Michael Hogan; sister Elsie Jane Vieth; also survived by her "fur-babies".

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 9AM to 10AM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A., 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646 where the funeral procession will leave at 10:15AM for service and interment at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, Utah 84741-5000.
