Gary Wheeler Danielson, 65, La Plata, MD, died at his residence, October 5, 2008.

Mr. Danielson was an engineering technician for 32 years with Naval Surface Weapon (Naval Ordnance Station) at Indian Head, MD, and was a member of Indian Head Baptist Church. He loved working in his garage and was known as a "Jack-of-All-Trades". He enjoyed metal work, working on cars and motorcycles, gardening, canning vegetables, collecting miniature cars and trucks, and boating. His passion was NASCAR "Dale Earnhart".

Born December 18, 1942, in La Plata, MD, he was the son of the late Henry Clay Danielson and the late Hilda Bernice Wheeler-Danielson.

Predeceased by his parents and one brother, Ronald Danielson.

He is survived by his wife Martha F. Danielson; two sons, Gary S. Danielson and Weston Clay (Holly) Danielson, Sr.; four grandchildren, Steven Tyler, Kaitlynn, Weston C., Jr., and Heidi Nicole Danielson. Also survived by a number of cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008, from 5:00-8:00 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2008, at 1:00 PM at Raymond Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Bean officiating.

Interment will be at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
