Mary Catherine Tennison, 80 of Hollywood, Maryland died November 10, 2006 at St. Mary's Hospital.

She was born January 17, 1926 in St. Mary's County to the late Joseph Neal and Alice Catherine Armsworthy Hayden.

She was survived by her three children Catherine Ann Tennison of Oakton, VA, Thomas Sterling Tennison of Hollywood, MD, Mary Ellen Tennison of Leonardtown, MD, one brother Joseph Neal Hayden and his wife Joan of Huntingtown, MD and two grandchildren Jonathan S. Tennison and Joseph A. Tennison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Sterling Tennison.

Mary was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and was involved in the Catholic Daughters and Ladies of Charity organizations.

A visitation was held on Monday, November 13, 2006 from 5 – 8 p.m. with prayers recited at 7:00 p.m. at the Brinsfield Funeral Home chapel, Leonardtown, Maryland. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, Lexington Park, Maryland.
