Lorraine Patricia Fanase, age 88, of La Plata, Maryland died December 12, 2018 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. Lorraine was a homemaker and attended services of St. John's Catholic Church in Clinton, Maryland and Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, Maryland. In her youth, she was a member of bowling leagues. She loved playing Bingo, cooking, and singing.

She was the daughter of Albert Gasper and Clara Mikowski Gasper. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her sister, June Gasper and her son-in-law, Bernard Semega. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Michael Fanase; her daughters, Linda Meliani (Mustapha) and Tammy Semega; her brother, Raymond Gasper; and her grandchildren, Jessica Semega, Nadia Meliani Little (Will), and Kenz Michael Meliani.

Friends received on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 9:00 AM until time of Memorial Mass at 10AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, Maryland. Private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service.
