Charles L. "Pete" Trossbach, 80, of Dameron, MD died August 28, 2008 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born February 21, 1928 in Dameron, MD, he was the son of the late Louis T. and Caroline (Norris) Trossbach. He was predeceased by his wife Margaret A. Delozier and two brothers, Joseph Trossbach and David Trossbach and his companion Estelle Hyde.

He was in the construction business most of his life, he enjoyed being with his family, playing bingo and going to dances. He was member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Ridge, MD, Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post 0297, Baltimore, MD.

Mr. Trossbach is survived by six daughters: Linda M. Biscoe, Joan Dominiak of Dameron, MD, Peggy Owens of Hollywood, MD, Carol Delozier of Ridge, MD, Kathy Wheeler of Lexington Park, MD and Janet Marshall of California, MD; three sons: Mike Trossbach of Dameron, MD, Paul Trossbach of Callaway, MD and Jim Trossbach of Caldwell, Idaho; three sisters: Carolyn A. Wood of Dameron, MD, Mary L. Raley of Park Hall, MD and Patricia Buckner of Australia; one brother: John E. Trossbach of Browns Mills, NJ. He also survived by 20 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends on Monday, September 1, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD with prayers recited at 7 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Ridge, MD. Monsignor Maurice O'Connell pastor of the church will be the celebrant. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be his grandsons, Dan and Tim Biscoe, Michael, Bruce, Andy, Charles, Peter, Josh Trossbach, Leroy Owens, Jay and Chris Wheeler. Gift bearers will be grand-daughters Jennifer Olsen, Stacey Owens, Jamie Lachkovic, Jessica Wheeler and Becky Lacey, altar server will be Samantha Marshall.
