Edward Malcolm Shenberger, 68, of St. Leonard, MD passed away on August 24, 2008 at his home.

Mr. Shenberger was born August 22, 1940 in Washington DC to the late Ralph M. and Edna Amanda Ort Shenberger. His daughter Michelle Gordy and a sister Mary Hatton also predecease him.

Mr. Shenberger served in the Army and Army Reserves from Jan. 1963 thru July 1968. He moved to Calvert County in 1972, where he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and driving his tractor. He retired from Otis Elevator after 35 years in 2002 where he received an Excellence Service Award. Mr. Shenberger was a member of Crossroads Christian Church and a wonderful family man.

His wife, Aline Shenberger of St. Leonard, his daughter, Jennifer Williams of Lothian, MD and a son Daniel Shenberger of St. Leonard, MD, survives him. He is also survived 15 grandchildren and a brother William Shenberger.

The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes Island Road, Port Republic; MD on Tuesday August 26, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral services will be on Wednesday August 27, 2008, 11 A.M. at Crossroads Christian Church in St. Leonard, MD. Interment will follow in Southern Memorial Gardens in Dunkirk, MD.
