Michael Chlysta, 89 of Waldorf, MD died on August 22, 2008 at his residence.

Born on March 21, 1919 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Harry and Mary Chlysta. Mr. Chlysta was a Supervisor for Package Products, Inc. Prior he served in the U.S. Army for 4 years during World War II. His enjoyments were gardening, working on his car, he was Mr. Fix it around the house.

Survived by his wife, Jessie Bielewicz Chlysta, children, Michele (Dominick) Wisniewski of Waldorf, MD, and Denise (Thomas) Glen of Wichita, KS, grandchildren, Lia, Ava, Brittany, Joshua, and Drew, great-grandchildren, Brian & wife, Celeste, Scott & wife, Mistie, Mark & wife, Michelle, and Katie.

He is predeceased by siblings, Mary Hideck and John Chlysta.

Family received friends Monday, August 25, 2008 from 2-4 & 6-8PM in Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 11AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Bryantown, MD. Father Lawrence Young was the celebrant. Interment followed at the church cemetery.
