Bonita Mae Moody, 85, of Mechanicsville, Maryland, formerly of Upper Marlboro, passed away on August 18, 2008 at her residence. Born July 3, 1923 in Charleston, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ezra Needham and Nelly Estola Turley Needham.
Mrs. Moody was a homemaker and loved to wear her hats. Full of love and laughter, she was proven to have broken the mold. She was a blessing to her friends and family and all who came across her in life. She was the perfect example of a God-fearing woman for all women. Her love and wisdom will never be forgotten and will always be remembered for her memories, stories and legacy. She was preceded in death by her husband Wade Garland Moody. She is survived by her son, Wade G. Moody, Jr. (Beverly) and daughters, Shirley Comeaux of New Orleans, Louisiana and Debbie Rohme(Robert III) of Rehobeth Beach, Delaware and brother, Earl Needham of North Carolina. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Wade III, Corrie, Britany, Sidnee,and Shelbee Moody, Jack and James Comeaux, and Robert IV, Christina and Justin Rohme and 5 great-grandchildren: Nathaniel, O'ceanna, Britany, Hailee and Gabriel. Mrs. Moody's Life Celebration was held on Friday, August 22, 2008 at the Brinsfiled-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD where a prayer service was led by the Rev. Robert Kyner. Interment was held Saturday, August 23, 2008 at the National Memorial Park, Falls Church, VA. Memorial contributions may be made to The Ripple Center, Department of Aging, P.O.
