Alice Mildred Brown, 99 of Leonardtown, Maryland died August 16, 2008 at her home.

Born November 9, 1908 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late James and Lilly Mae Jackson Rebham.

She was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church, Valley Lee, MD and Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 107, Julia Halla, Hollywood, MD.

Mrs. Brown is survived by two sons: Lloyd E. ( Jerry ) Brown, Jr. of Leonardtown, MD and Willard Bruce Brown of Terra Alta, West Virginia. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Julie Brown-Rund, Jeff Brown, Nancy Deal, Wendy Jarda, Judy Graybill and Pheobe Brown, and 8 great-grandchildren Clay and Will Rund, Kristen and Josh Brown, Shawn and Bruce Deal, Audrey and Samantha Jarda. She was predeceased by a daughter Betty Ruth Brown and a brother John B. Fenwick.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mrs. Brown's Life Celebration in the Brinsfield Funeral Home, 22955 Hollywood Road, Leonardtown, MD on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 5 to 8:00 p.m. with prayers recited at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in St. George's Episcopal Church, 19167 Poplar Hill Lane, Valley Lee, MD. Reverend Greg Syler, pastor of the church will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
