James "Jimmy" Lambert Young, age 68, of La Plata, Maryland, died February 19, 2018 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. Jimmy was a Communications Specialist with Electronic Consulting Service (ECS) for 45 plus years and was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served from 1969-1971. He was the son of James Roy Young and Emma Pauline McCormick Young. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer L. Young.

Friends received on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 6-8PM with an additional Visitation on Friday, March 2, 2018 from 11AM until time of Funeral Service at 12PM at Trinity Baptist Church, 2671 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601. Interment to follow at 1:45PM at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, Maryland 20623.
