Mrs. Howard was a Homemaker who enjoyed dancing, Country music, roller skating (in her younger days), but most of all being with her family.

She was daughter of the late Edward Beck and the late Lottie Kline Beck

She was predeceased by her parents, and one son-in-law, Paul Miller.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Bernard M. Howard, Sr., two daughters, Sandra J. (Les) Sandy of Cheshire, CT and Nancy L. Miller of White Plains, MD, and one son Bernard M. (Charlene) Howard, Jr. of Cape Coral, FL. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2008 from 10-11am at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD

A Funeral Service will follow on Monday, July 21, 2008 at 11am at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery, Pomfret, MD

Clergy will be the Rev. Mark Roberson

Pallbearers will be Paul Miller, Jeff Howard, Chuck Spitznagel, Jeff Miller, Carl Crane, and Jerry Crane.
