Ms. Cocimano was a Receptionist for CSCI Computer Science. She enjoyed crocheting, shopping, fishing, and cooking. She most enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late Albert L. Gates and the late Susie V. Bovello Gates.

She is survived by her one son, William Ernest (Lisa) Cocimano, Jr. of Lexington Park, MD, one daughter, Angela Marie (Richard) Candelora of Waldorf, MD, two brothers, Albert Leroy Gates of Ohio and John Richard Gates of Delaware, and two grandchildren, Nicola Cocimano and Nicolas Michael Candelora.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11, 2008 from 5-6pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel, La Plata, MD.

A Funeral Service will follow on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 6pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel.

Clergy will be the Rev. John P. Gaffney.

Interment will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD on Monday, July 14, 2008 at 11am.
