Kerwood "Kirk" Clark Nixon, 75, of Waldorf, MD died January 22, 2016 at the Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, MD.

He was the son of John E. Nixon and Hilda L. Henshen Nixon and was married to Catherine Clara (Bynum) Nixon. He was a Detective for 30 years with the Metropolitan Police Department.

Memorial Service on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11AM at the Accokeek First Church of God, 158211 Livingston Road, Accokeek, MD 20607. Burial at 10AM on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
