John Elmer Williams, 70 of Mechanicsville, MD, passed away on April 30, 2008 at his residence.

Born April 5, 1938 in LaJolla, California, he was the son of Laura E. Guiett Williams of El Cajon, CA and the late John Henry Williams.

Mr. Williams was a Construction Inspector for JMT Engineering.

In addition to his mother Mr. Williams is survived by his wife Kay Anita Williams, children; Kimberly K. Rieman, (Phil) of LaPlata, MD, John R. Williams of Mechanicsville, MD and Daniel M. Williams, (Kelli) of Stewartstown, PA, siblings; Irene Elmore of El Cajon, CA, Ruth Massingale, (Lyle) of Canton, IL, sister-in-law; Becky Harden of Mechanicsville, MD, and grandchildren; P.J. Rieman, Kimmy C. Rieman, Cindy M. Rieman, John L. Williams and Justin M. Rieman, also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and many good friends.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 3, 2008 from 9AM to 11AM in the Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622 where a Service will be conducted at 11AM with Father Peter Alliata officiating. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Mary's, Inc., P.O. Box 625, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
