Ms. Winters was the lodging manager for Andrews Air Force Base since 1981. She was a member of New Horizon Gospel Ministries Church in Clinton, Md. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her home. She loved her job, being with her family and grandkids, and her dog "Layla".

Daughter of the late Thomas A. Cooper and the late Mary G. Cole Cooper.

Predeceased by her parents.

Survived by her one daughter, Tonya T. (Edward) Lemon of Waldorf, Md., eight brothers, William Cooper, Thomas (Catherine) Cooper, Jr., Joseph W. (Rose) Cooper, Michael S. (Cathy) Cooper, Joseph J. (Rita) Cooper, Francis D. (Deborah) Cooper, Jerry T. (Lisa) Cooper, and Paul Cooper., five sisters, Adell Wheeler, Hazel Woodland, Betty Lyles, Delonda Cooper, and Jackie Riley., three grandchildren, Kyara, Kevaun, and Tamia, .

Visitation on Friday, May 2, 2008 from 9:30-11am at New Horizon Gospel Ministries Church, 8324 Woodyard Road, Clinton, Md. 20735.

Funeral Service on Friday, May 2 at 11am at New Horizon Gospel Ministries Church. Clergy will be Rev. Willie Reaves. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, Md.
