Mr. Hughes was an electrician for 12 years with IBEW Local 26. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He enjoyed gardening and planting from seeds. He loved learning new things, and being with his family.

Son of William Thomas Hughes, Jr. And Karen Ann Puckett Hughes of Miss.

Survived by hIs parents, his wife, Karen M. Hughes, three sons, Jesse L. Hughes of Miss., Cain E. And Seven T. Hughes, both of Waldorf, Md., one brother, Jason P. Hughes of Miss., paternal grandmother, Forrest M. Hart of S.C., parents-in-law, John and Gladys Elting of Waldorf, Md.

Visitation on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 from 3-6 pm with Remembrances by family at 5pm with Marine Corps Honors at Raymond Funeral Chapel, 5635 Washington Ave., La Plata, Md. 20646.

Interment is private.
