Josephine Nice Rivell, age 83, of Stephens City, Va. formally of Prince Frederick, MD Went to be with the heavenly Father on April 23, 2008.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Clarence Nice, Sr. and her second husband Frank Rivell. Her loving family included 13 children: Clarence Nice, Jr. of Pine Bluff, AK; Frank Nice of Leonardtown, MD, Harry Nice of Etowah, TN., Joseph Nice of Lusby, MD, Walter Nice of Inwood WVA, George Nice of Mechanicsville, MD, Robert Nice of Mechanicsville MD, Leon Nice of Berkley Springs WVA, Brenda Nice of Stephens City, Va., Maryann Tanis of Stephens City, Va., John Nice of Lusby, MD, Patti Nice Milburn of Hollywood, MD, Donald Nice of Huntingtown, MD and their Spouses. She is also survived by 22 Grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 6 brothers and 6 sisters.

The family will receive friends at the Rausch Funeral Home, 4405 Broomes island Road Port Republic, MD on Sunday April 27, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where services will be held on Monday April 28, 2008, 11 AM with Elder Jim Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow in the United Methodist Church of Dentsville. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Brenda Nice Trust Fund.
