Mr. Rivera-Ortiz was a retired Staff Sergeant with 11 years service in the U. S. Army. Prior to his Army career, he served 11 years with the United States Marine Corps.
Son of Sinecio Rivera and Estefania Ortiz. Survived by his son George Rivera; daughter Frances Rivera of White Plains, MD. Visitation on Monday, April 28, 2008 from 10AM-12NOON at Raymond Funeral Chapel La Plata, MD. Funeral Service on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 12NOON at Raymond Funeral Chapel La Plata, MD.
