Mrs. Garner was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church Piney Parish in Waldorf, MD. She was a bus driver for many years for Clinton Christian School. She loved oil paintings, crocheting and growing flowers, mostly taking care of kids and her family.

Daughter of the late Thomas Vivian Cooksey and the late Lucy Jeanette Murphy.

Predeceased by her parents and her husband Reginald Ralph Garner Sr.; son Reginald R. Garner Jr.; son-in-law Joel Tedder Wallace R. Garner, Jr.

Survived by her two daughters Rose Marie Tedder of Bryantown, MD and Sandra L. (Harold) McNulty of Oakton, VA; one son Wallace Garner of Brandywine, MD; one sister Margaret Allen of Indian Head, MD; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.

Visitation on Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at Raymond Funeral Chapel La Plata, MD.

Funeral Service on Friday, April 25, 2008 at 11 am at St. Paul's Episcopal Church - Piney Parish 4535 Piney Church Road Waldorf, MD.

Interment at the church cemetery. Clergy will be Rev. Joy A. Rose, TSFF, Rector. Pallbearers will be Jay McNulty, John F. Mudd, Christopher Boswell, Doug Paulk, John H. Mudd, J. R. Boswell and Danny Garner.
