Elizabeth (Betty) Catherine Agpaoa, age 83, of Hughesville MD, passed away on October 7, 2015 at her home after a long illness. Born December 18, 1931 in Washington DC, raised in Ardmore, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Thomas Calvin Jones and Julia Zabinski Jones.

Betty was a homemaker who loved and raised six children. She enjoyed traveling, history, crab cakes, and being with her family and friends. She was also an animal lover and was especially fond of chickens, horses and snow leopards.

Predeceased by her brother Robert L. Jones and son William Agpaoa, she is survived by her husband of 61 years Delano (Sonny) Simon Agpaoa; sons Joseph Anthony Agpaoa and Delano Thomas Agpaoa; daughters Julia Anne Gargano, Elizabeth Marie Sanders and Karen Jane Smith; brother Donald C. Jones; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
