Cynthia Eileen Gilmore, age 71, of Waldorf, MD, died September 21, 2015 at the St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD.

Cynthia was an administrative assistant for EG&G Defense Contractor for 20 plus years and a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD. She loved cooking and feeding others, making cookies for friends, was a long-time foster parent for many kids, had a great sense of humor, and was a music lover.

She is the daughter of the late Edward Doyle and the late Rose Jean Bailey Doyle. She is also predeceased by her husband, John Thomas Gilmore. She is survived by her sons, Patrick and Leon Gilmore; her daughter, Therese Gilmore; her brother, Anthony Doyle; her sister, Nicia Williams; and her grandchildren, Rachel, Kyle, Alyssa, Jordan, and John Anthony. Also survived by four great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 10AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church, 100 Village Street, Waldorf, MD 20602. Interment at a later date at MD Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service in La Plata, MD. Memorial contributions are asked to Our Lady Help of Christians Church.
