Annie Estelle "Memom" Keeler, 80, of Leonardtown, MD passed away on August 25, 2015 in Washington, DC. Born September 7, 1934 in Westwood, MD she was the daughter of the late Ida Rebecca Richards and William Thomas Richards.
Annie was the wife of the late Richard James Keeler whom she married on April 17, 1976 and who preceded her in her death on January 28, 2010. "Memom" is survived by her children; Linda Jo (Robert) Crawford of Mechanicsville, MD, Paula Ann (Edward) Williams of La Plata, MD, Bonnie Hope Keeler (Sue Berthaut) of Winchester, VA and step-son Eddie (Joannie) Bartron of Hughesville, MD, also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters; Margaret R. Yamashiro, Preston T. Richards, Mary A. Richards, Eleanor Richards, Earl Richards, Edith Richards and baby boy Richards. "Memom" graduated from Gwynn Park High School in 1953, she was a Special Education Aide for Prince George's County, MD, she moved to St Mary's County in 2010 from La Plata, MD. "Memom" was a big Washington Redskins fan, she volunteered as a senior companion in Charles & St. Mary's Counties, she liked to play Wii bowling, cards, and bingo, going out to eat with family, she was a big Young and the Restless fan and loved to pick on Lou. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 9:00AM to 10:00AM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, Leonardtown, MD where a Memorial Service will be held at 10:00AM with Pastor Wayne Welsh officiating. Interment will be private. Honorary pallbearers will be: Edward L. Williams, Jr., Edward L. Williams, III, Charles Arcadipane, Robert V. Crawford, Russell H. Dabbs, Rob Norris, Francis M.
