Louise R. Evans of Lusby, Maryland died on April 16, 2008 at Washington Hospital Center, Washington, D.C..

She was born on February 4, 1927 in Harrisburg, Illinois to Flora Lee and William Freeman Rhine. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Evans in 1996.

Prior to moving to Maryland in 2002, she lived in Searcy, Arkansas where her husband is buried. She was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of Searcy, Arkansas and is now a member of Olivet United Methodist Church of Lusby, Maryland.

She is survived by her two children, her daughter, Sherma and her husband Millard "Max" Munger of Lusby, Maryland, and her son, Gregory Evans of Terre Haute, Indiana and three grandchildren, Diana Munger of Edgewater, Maryland, Mark Evans and David Evans both of Terre Haute, Indiana.

A memorial service will be held at Olivet United Methodist Church, Lusby, Maryland and inurnment will service will be held at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Searcy, Arkansas at a later date.
