Louis "Reds" Curtis Fowler, 80, of Hughesville, MD, passed away on August 20, 2015 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD. Born July 21, 1935 he was the son of the late Harry Elsworth Fowler and the late Sadie Elva Sansbury Fowler.

Louis was predeceased by his wife, Peggy Lou Fowler, his four brothers and one sister. He was a member of the District Heights Volunteer Fire Department. Louis enjoyed woodworking and his John Deere Tractor.

Prior to his retirement, Louis worked as diesel mechanic with Mack Trucks in Bladensburg, MD.

Family will receive friends for Louis' visitation on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 10-11am at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622, followed with a Funeral Service at 11am. Interment will follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD. Arrangements provided by Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home.
