Marion B. Perdue of Waldorf, Maryland passed away on August 16, 2015 at the age of 91.

Marion enjoyed going to the beach, baking and cooking, wood carving and playing bingo. She was active and did a lot of traveling with the Waldorf Senior Center. Her pride and joy was her family and friends who she simply enjoyed going out to lunch with. Marion was an avid supporter of the HARC, Melwood Center and Amvets.

Marion was born to the late Lancelot M. Barrett and Abbie Beaulah Hampton in Roanoke, Virginia. She is preceded in the death by her loving husband Morton Perdue; Sisters Louise Marshal Barrett Richards and Maxine Stone Ashe and Daughter Eileen Orndorff.

She is survived by her Children Robert Perdue (Joyce), Linda Perdue and Joanne Orndorff; Grandchildren Lorna Orndorff, Chris Orndorff (Sherry), Lisa Perdue, Susanne Tameris (Richard), Denise Holmes (Justin), Eric Perdue and Ian Orndorff (Tammy); Great Grandchildren Tyler, Randy, Devon, Trenton, Shelby, Payton, Madelyn, Emelia, Liam, Brody and Elijah and Great Great Grandchild Stella.

A memorial service will be held at the Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf, Maryland on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at 4pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the HARC at Post Office Box 2367, Waldorf, MD 20604 or the Melwood Center at 5606 Dower House Road, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
