Vincent Albert Pingitore, Sr., age 87, formerly of Brandywine, MD, died on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Charlotte Hall Veterans Home in Charlotte Hall, MD.

Vincent worked as a self-employed General Contractor for more than 50 years. He was also the former Owner of Aqualand Restaurant and Marina in Newburg, MD. He was a Charter Member and past President of the Waldorf Elks Lodge. He was also the past President of the Maryland, Delaware, and District of Columbia Elks Association. Vincent's hobbies included boating and fishing, flying his Cherokee airplanes and playing cards. He was a devoted husband and father.

Born March 14, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA, Vincent was the son of the late Dominic A. Pingitore and the late Antoinette DeFeo Pingitore. He was also predeceased by one son, the late Stephen M. Pingitore.

Vincent is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mildred Marie Schiavo Pingitore; his son, Vincent A. Pingitore, Jr. and his wife Wanda; two grandchildren, Rachel Pingitore and her husband Ben, and Anthony S. Pingitore; and one great-grandchild, Duncan.

Friends will be received on Monday, August 24, 2015 from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, LaPlata, MD 20646. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00AM at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Waldorf, MD. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Waldorf, MD.
