Margery Louise "Muffin" Goucher, 64, passed away July 9, 2015 after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis at Calvert County Nursing Center. She was born July 11, 1950 in Washington, D.C. to Charles and Virginia (Tayman) Moxley.

Margery was raised in Cottage City, MD and graduated from Bladensburg High School in 1968. She married Thomas Goucher in 1968 and they made their home and raised their family in Huntingtown. Primarily a homemaker, Margery also worked at Bowen's Grocery Store for twenty years.

She later moved to North Beach, where she enjoyed the bay and the boardwalk, before becoming a resident at the nursing center two years ago. She was a member of Emmanuel and Huntingtown United Methodist Churches. Margery enjoyed her dogs, gardening, and baseball, especially the Washington Nationals. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by children John Goucher (Michael Mangold) of Davidsonville, Daniel Goucher (Donna) of Huntingtown and Melanie Harwood (Cory) of Owings, and her former spouse Thomas Goucher of North Beach. Also surviving are siblings Charles Moxley, Jr. (Patricia) of Dares Beach, Marilyn Hereford (Bobby) of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and Julie Moxley (Curt Carlson) of Coconut Grove, FL, and grandchildren Danny and Katie Goucher and Cy and Jay Harwood.
