Doris Mae Pierce, of White Plains, Maryland died on July 3, 2015 at the Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf. She was 79 years old. Born on July 14, 1935 in Baltimore, MD she was the daughter of the late Clara Chipman Harrison and the late Phillip Roland Harrison. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Pierce Sr. and her brother Roland Harrison.

Mrs. Pierce was a secretary with the federal government. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children James Robert Pierce Jr., Christina Mary Estevez, Joseph Lewis Pierce, Teresa Elizabeth Littleford, Bernadette Ann Pierce and Ann Marie Pierce; her grandchildren Christina Thomas, Frank Estevez Jr., David Littleford Jr., Anthony Littleford, and Robert Pierce; her great grandchildren Cameron Avendano, Makayla, Estevez, Abigail Thomas, Evan Zook, and Alayna Zook; her sister Helen Baldwin.

Visitation on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 2PM to 5PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. 5635 Washington Avenue La Plata, MD 20646. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, July 13, 2015 beginning at 12Noon at St. Peter's Catholic Church St. Peter's Church Road Waldorf, MD. Pallbearers are her four grandsons Frank Estevez Jr., David Littleford, Jr., Anthony Littleford, Robert Pierce, two friends Albert Hicks and Gordon Dause.

Interment to follow at Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Charities, 924 G Street NW, Washington, D.C. 20001. Arrangements provided by Raymond Funeral Service.
