Sara M. Davis, 86, of Charlotte Hall, MD, formerly of Oakville, MD and Longview, TX passed away peacefully June 16, 2015 at her residence. Born April 7, 1929 in Agricola, GA she was the daughter of Cyrus A. McGlocklin and Ruby Dye McGlocklin.

Sara was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, ceramics, cooking and being with family. From 1947 to 1960, Sara was a Navy wife and she accompanied her husband to duty stations that included San Diego, CA; Brooklyn, NY; St. John's, Newfoundland; Norfolk, VA and a two year overseas assignment to Asmara, Ethiopia.

Predeceased by her parents and sister, Mary Brooks Mock, Sara is survived by her husband, Clarence J.M. Davis; son, David Michael Davis (Kathleen) of Leonardtown, MD; brother, James (Buddy) McGlocklin of Ridge Spring, SC; grandson, Eric Michael Davis (Anita) and 3 great grandchildren, Jayna, Camryn and Brea Davis of Stillwater, MN.

Inurnment will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD at a later date.
