Mary Elizabeth Shook, age 88, of La Plata, MD died on May 17, 2015 at the Charles County Hospice House in Waldorf, MD.

Mary was an office manager for 35 years with Greene Enterprises in White Plains, MD. She enjoyed playing cards at the Clark Senior Center and reading. She worked up until the time of her death and she loved her job. She was a great wife, mother, and friend to many.

She is the daughter of the late Earl Andrew Bond and the late Mary Belle Miller Bond. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Edward William Shook; her daughter, Lisa Shook; and her brothers, Drew and Stephen Bond.

Friends received on Thursday, May 21, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8PM with a Wake Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 9:30AM at the MD Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Highway, Cheltenham, MD 20623.
