May Lorraine "Snookie" Kelley of La Plata, Maryland died on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at Civista Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland. She was 77 years old.

Born on February 14, 1931 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Bertha and Walter Bobbitt. During her lifetime, Ms Kelley worked as telephone supervisor for the phone company and later as care giver in the health industry. She loved to play bingo, cards, word games and enjoyed cooking, going out to eat but most of, she loved to just plain talk to people.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Beaulah Davis, Katherine Rettig, June Garner and Rebecca Clatterbuck; brother Louis Smith.

She is survived by her brother Joseph Bobbitt; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial services 11AM on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at Old Durham Episcopal Church in Ironsides, MD with the Reverend David McDonald officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
