Clyde Elmo McClintock of Hughesville, MD died on May 4, 2015 at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital. A retired Boilermaker for the Federal Government, he was 79 years young.

He was born on July 19, 1935 in Confluence, PA to the late Sidney and Anna McClintock. He was also preceded in death by his brother David McClintock.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa McClintock; daughter Erin Hoffman (Eric); brothers Sidney, Conrad, and Clarence McClintock; sisters, Joyce Arma and Susan Capelli; and granddaughters Aidan and Logan Hoffman.

Clyde loved his family and had a heart of gold. He was a kind and gentle soul who appreciated the simple things in life. A devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, he spent time with those he loved and lived life to the fullest. He was an avid gardener and hunter, spending many hours in the great outdoors. Clyde also enjoyed lifting weights and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins.

The family will receive friends at the Immaculate Conception Church, Mechanicsville, MD on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 9 AM followed by a Mass at 10 AM. A private interment will follow at the Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
