On Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Civista Medical Center, Larry David Proctor Sr., was called home to be with the Lord. He was born on July 10, 1949 in Washington, D.C. to Agnes Teresa Proctor and the late James Maxwell Proctor Sr.

Larry was a skilled Businessman in the field of Custodial Services. He had a passion for playing horseshoes and having cookouts for his birthday. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Teresa, left to cherish many memories are his children, Leslie, Nicole and Larry Jr., two sons-in-law, David Felton and Braden Fletcher, five grandchildren, Ryan, Corinne, Lindsay, Monae and Devin, two sisters, Evelyn and Sheldonna, three brothers, Joseph, Cordell, Jimmy, one brother-in-law, Roy DeMesme, and one sister-in-law, Ethel Newman and a host of other relatives and friends.

His viewing will be held on Friday, April 4th, 9:00a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial 10:30a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 201 St. Mary's Avenue, La Plata, MD. Interment St. Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery, Pomfret, MD. Arrangements entrusted to Thornton Funeral Home, P.A.
