Ginas, James Michael, III
Birth: Friday, April 12, 1985
Death: Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the age of 30
James Michael Ginas, III, husband of Bianca Ginas and father of his beautiful daughter, Alexa, son of Liz and Jim Ginas, brother of Timothy and Stefanie Ginas, uncle to Aden and Alexis and his aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces he loved so much, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015.

Jimmy would want us to remember his grandparents (James M. Ginas, Sr., Maryanne and Bill O'Neill and Bill Galm) and his great grandparents.

Jimmy, as he was affectionately known by his family, friends and co-workers, celebrated his 30th birthday six days prior, on April 12th.

Jimmy was a highly decorated U.S. Army Green Beret. His awards and medals included Purple Heart, Bronze Star with "V" for Valor and he was an Airborne Ranger, Sniper, HALO trained soldier among many other qualifications.

Jimmy was not only loved by his family, but also his many wonderful friends from Waldorf, MD, where he grew up, as well as throughout the U.S. and across the globe where he served his country. His infectious smile and positive attitude was recognized by all who knew him.

Jimmy had a strong faith in God, a strong belief in caring for others and making each person individually feel special. Our hearts break and prayers are with the family and friends of Jimmy. Jimmy would want people to be kinder to each other and for us all to treat each other with patience and love.

Arrangements provided by Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, MD.
