Dianne Pearl Pellettiere, 72, of Hughesville, Maryland passed away after a courageous battle with leukemia on Tuesday, April 7, 2015. She was born on April 19, 1942 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Dianne was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Pearl (Laventure) Sevigny, and beloved aunts Lillian Scott and Pauline Jaffarian.
She is survived by her husband, George Pellettiere, brothers Walter and Reginald Sevigny, sisters-in-law, Marylene and Martha Sevigny, sons, Scott Wells (wife Lynn), Richard Pellettiere (wife Stacey), daughters Lori Goldsmith (husband Lawrence), and Patricia Pellettiere, grandchildren; Christopher, Andrew, and Jordan Wells; Mitchell and Monica Guyton; Keith and Tiffany Pellettiere; Justyn, Jeremy, and Jessica Lankford; and many great grandchildren. Dianne was a secretary at the Washington Star Newspaper for many years before opening her business, Word Power Associates in Waldorf. She retired from Freeman Decorating Company in 2005. Dianne was a very loving, gentle, and thoughtful woman who will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She loved sewing, gardening, cooking, crossword puzzles, time with good friends, and entertaining. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by her husband and children. A memorial will be held at the Lutheran Church of our Savior, 7365 Indian Head Highway, Indian Head, Maryland 20616 on April 25, 2015, at 11:00am. Arrangements provided by Huntt Funeral Home. |
