Helen Linda Gragan, age 76, of Bel Alton, MD, passed away on March 18, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 29, 1938 in Faulkner, MD she is the daughter of the late Ferdinand Charles Hayden and Helen Bruce Dyson. Linda is a life-long resident of Charles County.

On October 21, 1961, she married her loving husband, Paul Douglas Gragan. Together they celebrated 40 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in February 2001.

After retiring from Physician's Memorial Hospital, she went on to work part-time at Captain Billy's Crab House. She loved cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her children, Patricia Graves and husband Billy of Bel Alton, MD, Barbara Gragan of Bel Alton, MD, Douglas Gragan of La Plata, MD, and Richard Gragan and wife Rosy of Austin, TX; her grandchildren, Michele and Travis Gragan, and Kyle, Cody, and Casey Graves; her great-grandchildren, Haleigh Graves, Trevor Howe, and Summer Graves.

Family and friends received on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 9:30AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at the St. Ignatius Chapel Point Catholic Church, 8855 Chapel Point Road, Port Tobacco, MD 20677 with Father Tom Clifford, S.J. officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service in La Plata, MD.
