Helen Mae Wise, age 69, of Welcome, MD, died on March 7, 2015 at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC.

Helen was a Deputy Director for the Charles County Board of Elections.

She is the daughter of the late Lemuel Joseph Padgett and the late Beulah Catherine Steinhice Padgett. She is also predeceased by her siblings, Ethel Milstead, Lillian Milstead, Ada Leone, Violet Taylor, Rose Stone, Jenny Vandegrift, and Joseph Padgett.

She is survived by her son, Wesley Wise and his wife Karen; her daughter, Wendy Adkins and her husband Greg; her brother, Lemuel Padgett; and her granddaughters, Cheyenne and Candice Wise.

Friends received on Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 4-8PM with a Funeral Service at 7PM at Raymond Funeral Service, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646. Interment will be private. Arrangements provided by Raymond Funeral Service. Memorials are asked to The American Cancer Society.
