Richard White passed away in his home of natural causes on March 2, 2015. He was born on March 26, 1960 in Lancaster, PA., but lived the majority of his life in Southern Maryland.

He was the son of the late Charles C. White and is survived by his mother Susan K. White of Elizabethtown, PA; and his siblings Elizabeth A. Walter(Jack) of Mechanicsville, MD; Stephen T. White(Jerri) of Leesburg, VA; and Andrew A. White(Diane) of Clements, MD. He is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces and great-nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Rich graduated from Thomas Stone High School in 1978 and Lincoln Technical Institute in 1984. He was an auto mechanic his entire life, working at several companies in the local area, and for the last 15 years has serviced vehicles at Jimmy's Towing in Waldorf.

Since childhood, Rich loved to tinker with just about anything mechanical-model airplanes, lawn mowers, mini-bikes, go carts, cars, trucks, and engines and motors of all types. His garage was his refuge; a hanging out with his good buddies and neighbors. Rich was a loving and devoted son, brother, and friend to all. He will be long remembered and greatly missed.

A memorial gathering will be held at the Huntt Funeral Home, Waldorf, Maryland on Monday, March 9, 2015 from 5-6PM with the memorial service to begin at 6PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Rich's name. Arrangements provided by Huntt Funeral Home.
