Joseph Manford Campbell, Sr., affectionately known as Mannyboy, was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 25, 2015. Joseph's loving family surrounded him as he departed this life. Joseph was born in Charles County, MD on February 20, 1933 to the late Frances Louise Chesley and James Nicholas Campbell.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three sons: Earl Thomas, Irvin Manford Edelen, Joseph Manford Campbell, Jr. (Diane); five daughters: Mary "Ellen" Wilson (Mark), Christine "Nanette" Campbell, Phyllis "Sharna" Plater (Joseph), Charlene Yvette Campbell, Denisha Twynette Toye; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; two sisters: Hilda Reeves (James) and Agnes Chase (Francis); a brother: Charles H. Campbell; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015. Viewing: 10:00 a.m. until Service: 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 11555 St. Mary's Church Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Interment will follow services in the church cemetery. Repast immediately following the burial at the The Elks Lodge in Newburg, 12445 Rock Point Road, Newburg, MD.
