Roger William Gebicke, 65, of La Plata, MD died February 20, 2015 at the University of MD Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD.

Roger was a 1968 graduate of Oxon Hill High School where he played football and attended the University of MD College in College Park, MD. He was also a Veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during Vietnam from 1969-1972. He was a construction supervisor for 30 plus years at TLG & Associates.

He is the son of the late Louis William Gebicke and the living Mary Blincowe Gebicke. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved companion, Kathy Nielsen; his brother, Thomas L. Gebicke and his wife Donna; his nephew, Thomas S. Gebicke; his niece, Meagan M. Battaglia; and his great niece, Madison Battaglia. Also survived by many cousins and good friends.

Friends received on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 1PM until time of Memorial Service at 3PM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.
