Ronald "Gas" Perry Johnson, 60, of La Plata, MD died February 15, 2015 at the University Of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center. Ronald was born May 12, 1954 in La Plata, Maryland to Elizabeth Swann and the late Henry Lee Johnson.

He worked as a carpenter for CSI Worldwide LLC. He graduated from La Plata High school in 1973. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a car enthusiast and loved to be in his workshop doing woodworks and building things. Ronald was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, an outgoing people-person who lived life to the fullest. He was of the Episcopal faith.

In addition to his father he is preceded in death by two brothers; Richard Lee Johnson and Robert Louis Johnson.

In addition to his mother Elizabeth Beaton he is survived by one son Jonathan "Lee" Johnson, two daughters; Heather Matamoras and her husband Randy and Emily Sullivan and her husband Joshua, one step-daughter Sunni Miller and her husband Dwayne, three grandchildren, one great grandchild, one sister Marlene E. Johnson and his best friend and the mother of his children Patricia Robles.
