Alice Rudy Meinke, 79, of La Plata, MD died on January 20, 2015 at the University of MD Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, MD.

Alice was a homemaker and a member of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and the Elks Lodge in Waldorf, MD. She loved to read, watch TV, and was a Redskins fan.

She is the daughter of the late Frank W. Hoover and the late Luella Hoover. She is also predeceased by her husband, Walter Lindor Meinke. She is survived by her daughters, Dorrie Winegardner and her husband Joe, Carol Novicky, and Patty Whitehead; her step-daughters, Ellen Poulin and Carol Gibbs; her grandchildren, Craig Winegardner and his wife Jamie, Sheri Mergenthaler and her husband Tobin, Brandy Sallon, Melanie Conway, Brian Stewart, and Scott Stewart; and her great grandchildren, Haylee Winegardner and Bradon Conway. She is also survived by her friends, Maurice, Dottie, and Ann Marie DiPoli.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and Interment will be held at Arlington National Cemetery, both at a later date. Arrangements by Raymond Funeral Service in La Plata, MD.
