Ann Elizabeth Miles of La Plata, MD died on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at her residence. She was 86 years old.Born on August 29, 1928 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late Frank Hair and the late Ellen O'Brien Hair.

Ann was a vice president and bookkeeper in the construction loans department at B. F. Saul Company. She was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed game show networks, crossword puzzles, and was a Mall Walker.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Philip Miles; her brothers, Robert Hair, Sr. and James Hair; and her sisters, Marium Cornman and Katherine Cronican.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth W. Miles and his wife, Jacquelyn; her brother, Donald Hair and his wife Lorraine; and her grandchildren, Angela Gardner, Heather McManus, Jason Miles, Joshua Miles and Jessica Miles. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends received on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 9:30AM until time of Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 AM at the Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, MD 20646.
