David Lee Montgomery, 55, of Hughesville, MD passed away December 21, 2014 at his residence. Born December 18, 1959 in La Plata, MD, he was the son of Francis Carlyle Montgomery and Cecelia Kilhoffer.

David worked as Director of Operations for TELCO Critical Power and Cable in Beltsville, MD. David was a sports fan and enjoyed the Redskins and Nationals. A Led Zeppelin fan, he also enjoyed listening to Classic Rock and Alternative music. He enjoyed his John Deere tractor and trips to Gettysburg. David loved his job, but especially enjoyed being with all of his family.

Predeceased by his parents and step-father, Carl Kilhoffer, David is survived by his wife, Barbara Bunting Montgomery; children, Jenna Montgomery (fiancé, Dave), Hannah Boarman (Tony) and Beau Montgomery; brother, Francis Montgomery (Susan); sister, Jean Langley (Pat); and grandchildren, Kole, Charlotte and Violet (on the way).

The family will receive friends for David's Life Celebration on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Rd., Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. The Funeral Service will be on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 11 am at the Funeral Home. Pastor Dave Huffman will officiate. Interment will be private.
